Production Rehearsal 2017

Production Rehearsal 2017!!!

Our first dress rehearsal was entertaining & pleasant. The stage looked brilliant, who ever came up with the design of the stage should get a pat on the back and a whole lot of yummy food.
The fairies looked absolutely beautiful, the trees kind of looked a bit dull but there masks shone like the sun I mean a green thing that's bright.(hehe) The rehearsal was as great as the real thing (Whoops)  and Hannah was absolutely exquisite so was Te Aroha. Although truth be told I got bored so Dylan and I were talking to each other in sign language across the room. After all the rehearsals I knew it was gonna be great. We tried so hard so even if we made a mistake during it we always had it under-control. Go Kahikatea Team!!!!! If you come to our production watch out for little laugh.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Please comment

Choices For Life Production 2017

Production Reflection 2017!!!

The sound of music filled my ears it was a nice and calm song though. Song by "Michel Jackson" and in our production sung by Te Marmara Rifle. I imagined little butterflies flying around all the tree's. (BTW the kids on stage are dressed up as tree's) I got a glimpse of some tree's I know like Millie-Th, Ella-Th, and some more. I heard the music slowly fad away.  Blah, blah, blah the tree's kept on talking until this happened.
"These tree's sure have an axe to grind" Person 1 said in a board voice.
"Ha ha ha" I pushed the button on the keyboard.
"Knock, knock" Person 3 asked.
"Who's there" Person 2 answered back.
"A leaf as in a leaf off a tree."
"Leaf who."
Leaf me alone"
"Ha ha ha."
"How do tree's get onto the Internet" asked person 3.
"They log on" the other 2 shouted.
"Ha ha ha."
A few more jokes came along and you know what happened. Guess what I just told you the end of the production what!

That first paragraph was my favourite there is a lot more like the fairies & the Tameriki. This production hopefully caught some of the little ones minds so they will think about the choices we make in life. During the production I thought I saw little people making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to do. This production was awesome & I want to give a special thanks to Mrs Hobbs, Mr Gemmel Mrs Briant and of-cores Mrs Strathen.

These are the scenes "The fairy scene" , "Tree scene" , "Doc worker/Fore square scene" , "Possum/Bird scene'' , "Tameriki scene" "School scene" ,"Warrior scene"  And of-cores the choices for life scene.
The songs are "Whistle why you work it" , "I'm better when i'm dancing" , "Blame it on the boogie Maori version"   "Chocies for life" , "When the work is done'' , "heal the world."

Man the production was really fun & it took along time making.
If you came and are reading this please comment thanks!!

Bee Speech Reflection

Bee speech Reflection

What I like the most about my speech is how I give it and my warning.
Why did I write about bees, I did it because I find bee's interesting and even though I don't like honey and I'm afraid of bee's I just really found bees interesting.
How did I come up with the information for my bee speech I read a book called
''The Self-Sufficiency book'' I searched through the book looking for the paragraph ''Bees,''
when I finally found it I read up to ''bee foundation.''  I learnt a lot.

Which part of the paragraph could I improve, I could improve my first paragraph by adding more facts about ''bee's keep our plants alive.''
When I was reading it out to the class at my conclusion I speed up for some reason.
Who inspired me to do bees, my parents by encouraging to do bees. My mum told me when I first told her about speeches that she won her speeches and said that she couldn't believe I was doing speeches.

What saying my speech in front of the class felt like
I just got my speech out ready to say in front of the class.Butterflies danced around my belly
like they were having a parade and that wasn't the worst bit eel's, eel's flooded my belly to. This made me feel sick.I had to clutch my stomach together so I wouldn't spew.  I finally began.

Proud Moments Term-2 2017

Proud Moments Term-2 2017

I am proud of Ngahinapouri 7's because it was challenging and fun.
I thought my speech was a great progress.
I could see my-self working hard to learn my amazing number lines.
''I am so proud of my writing my mum even said once i'v done a really good piece she would send it to Bree'' I (Bonny) whisper happily.
My learning & education is beyond compared to what it used to be.
My sport was good in term 1 but now it's like.....AMAZING!!!!
 Can't wait till term 3.

Native Bush

A little Native bush walk

A faint breeze brushed against my pale face.
I thought I was in a peaceful meadow.
I heard kids shouting and chatting to one an another.
The sound of little birds calmed me.
Relaxed, I stood up straight walked with care over crunchy leaves.
''I can't wait to go home and listen to the birds there'' I whisper.
While walking I stopped and looked to see the gentle living trees.
I smiled and they smiled back.
I love nature.

Zoo trip reflection 2017

Zoo trip Reflection!!!

There I was standing in a loud but interesting zoo. Hoping the animals don't escape. I saw a peacock (male) starring at room 10 (a rowdy bunch) like it was going to attack or something.A minute later I heard a man shout ''come on in to this room.'' (We follow)The strange man known as Ken told us so much information. After, we had a feed Georges Mum came in with a lady (forgot the lady's name)
and had a tuatara on her hand. We all got to touch it,when it finally came around to me I shook off all the fear and....touched it. It felt as rapid as dinosaur skin.(Even though i'v never felt dinosaur)But anyway where was I oh yeah, and this is where our story of the zoo began .

Firstly we walked slowly and quietly through the native bird nest. Me and Caitlin stayed behind to look more carefully. We saw Holly (Olly's mum) looking up at a branch with a bird on it.
''Hey girls come look at this bird'' whispered Holly.
''It looks like its gonna poop on us'' I (Bonny me) shrugged.
''Yeah'' Caitlin agreed ''Imagine that, it'd be disgusting.''
''Come on girls lets find the rest of the group'' Holly Whispered in a natures way.
''O'k.'' me and Caitlin agreed.
While walking I spotted a really big bird.To me it looked like a kea or kakapo.
We kept walking till we saw the group. The bird keepers told us a lot of information, I think most of us probably tried to keep the information in there head.

Lastly we came back and split into groups Me and Caitlin decided to go with Hannah's mum.
But sadly the only thing we got see was thee tiger. (Waaaw)
At the end of the day when we had to go home the day had past,it seemed the all of room 10 other than me and Caitlin were sooo tired. But me and Caitlin had the time of our lives.

3D Dimensional Shapes

3D Dimensional Shapes

On Friday the 5th of May 2017 we drew some isometric blocks on dotted paper with a pencil (so we can rub out if make a mistake)and while we did it we had LOTS Of fun (well i did).
Mrs Hobbs put 2 pitchers on the projector we had to draw them.(It was really hard but easy)I made sure to put my paper on an angle that is the same as the one on the projector.

Once we had drawn them we went to someone who was already done and compared them.It took me awhile to do it but in the end I finished the first one. Off to the second one. The second one was really hard but for some reason it was also really easy in some cases. Lets say the test thingy to me of how hard it is it it would be in the middle. What I learnt from it is.......... How to draw 3d or whatever it was called shapes on dotted paper (or isometric paper kind of the same thing) I can now draw those shapes but here comes the harder part our 3rd one it is our own creation we must create it using blocks although it has to be 3 by 3. It was really hard but in the end i did it. (Woopwoop)
So yeah I guess i'll rate it about 5 out of 10 or 25 out of 50 or else 50 out of 100. ''So yeah at least I got it in the end.'' Yay!!!!!

Change of Habitats (Wolves)

Change of Habitats (Wolves)

This week me and Hannah decided to find information about how wolves changed "Yellowstone Park." We went on YouTube and typed up Yellow park change of the ecosystem after we pressed enter we (Me and Hannah) looked at the video called ''The Wolves that changed rivers'' we also looked at a video called ''Wolves are Responsible for changes in Yellowstone Park.''There were really interesting.

In 1995 the first 14 wolves were reintroduced into ''National Yellowstone Park''  although small in number the wolves started to have the most remarkable affects. By that I mean when they killed there prey it meant more than death because every kill that a wolf did meant more of another species and the wolves really only preyed on one animal and that animal is an Elk.The wolves drove off  the elk and since then the ''Elk'' have been avoiding certain places or landscapes E.g Low valleys, streams, some Gorges and low forest coverage all those places would make them easy prey.
Almost immediately new shrubs, grass, and trees started to grow in the places where the Elks don't go anymore.Bold Eagles and Ravens started to come down and feed on the leftovers of the Wolves kill.
Wolves maybe carnivores but they can eat grass because when they kill herbivores and eat them they are kinda eating greens.
''This information shows that Wolves breed life as well as death''
We should Thank the wolves even if they kill they also made life!!!

Tapa Turtle reflection

Tapa Turtle
This term Mrs Gibson White has been teaching us about geometry and in geometry we learnt about symmetry, rotation, translation and reflection. After:We started to do art.The art was our turtles and tapa cloths.
To do this we had to scrunch up some A3 paper and put indian dye on the squashed up piece of paper, and as for the turtles we got some ink but before that we decorated them in tapa designs. The main reason we learnt about geometry was because our tapa turtle cloth needed a lot of patterns.
To me this was a great new experience!!!!!!!!!

What is Tapa cloth:Tapa cloth(or simply tapa)is a bark cloth made from a mulberry tree. This is me with my my TAPA CLOTH!!!!!!

Week 7 Reflection

Mountain Biking💖

The bike rolled along the gravel like a rampaging rhino. I imagined my self falling face first on to the pale blue rocks. But instead I clenched my splintered hands on to the rubber handles and......(brakes).
A strange man shouts ''follow the path and be careful!.''
''Okay.....Arrrrrrrrr!'' I screech with fear as I go down the dirt track. I hear kids panicking and screaming as if being chased by a ivory lion far behind me.I taste dirt, while howling like a yeti trying to catch it's cheeky prey.

Suddenly a patch of dirt flings into my eye. ''Ouch,'' I wail.
''Bon you okay!'' roared a familiar voice.
''Yea,who are you?'' I question.
"It's me Dareeya!,''she bellowed.
''Oh do you mind helping me please'' I whined.
''Sure here'' Dareeya answers kindly.
''Thanks'' I mumble. As I pounce onto my bike I worry that the gates might close.
I saw a huge hill in front of my self and Dareeya. I pushed my heavy legs up it so hard they almost turned to stone.

Finally,I make it out of the dirt track and onto the stones. My bike ran along the stones as speedy as a meteoroid flying through the sky. ''Yes I did it I made it out yes'' I boomed. As I scull down some liquid I wonder how Hannah did. ''Bonny''someone boomed.
''Huh oh hay Isabella how are you'' I burst.
''Great I can't wait to go home can you''she roars.
''Hmm neither'' (laugh)I whisper.''Man today was great''I mutter.😊
